About this Event
Join Eco Club in celebrating Earth Day on April 10th in and around Achatz on April 10th between 12:30 and 2pm! Learn about sustainable practices, get free food, free T-shirts, grab some native seed packets and seed bombs, and engage with local organizations working to conserve native Indiana ecosystems! Meet some animals from Werling Wildlife Rehabilitation and birds from Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehabilitation Center! Visit with Mudslingers, Print Club, and RHA. Keep textiles out of landfills and switch up your style by visiting the Clothing Swap (it's free and you don't have to donate clothes in order to take some). Spend some time outside getting for professors and fellow students wet in the dunk tank, playing some yard games, or taking a canoe out on Mirror Lake. Enter our raffle for prizes like a Blue-Footed Booby stuffed animal from the World Wildlife Fund, gift certificates to the Botanical Gardens, bird houses, bat boxes, a sourdough starter, and many many more!!
It's a good idea to bring cash/change as some vendors will have goods for sale and only your first raffle ticket is free (we also will accept Venmo).
Come celebrate this beautiful Earth and learn about what you can do to be stewards of God's Creation with fun activities, interesting people, and good food.
